We prioritize checkable claims, prefer primary sources, show meaningful disagreement and seek evidence that could disprove our working view.
Polls
Totals include valid database records only. Hashing, cookies, session checks and rate limits reduce repeat voting without storing raw IP addresses.
GOAT points
A Top 10 gives 10 points to first, 9 to second, down to 1 for tenth. Global order uses total points with average position as a transparent tie-break.
Early results
Rankings based on fewer than 25 valid lists are labeled Early Results. Pairwise ranking remains a future mode until its explainable algorithm and moderation controls are complete.
Sources and corrections
Player totals require a source, cutoff date and verification status. Material factual changes receive a public correction record.
